Chopped!

by Sophie

Chopped is a great cooking show. I really like it but I feel bad for the people and how they get "Chopped." If you do not know what that means it is like when you are in a contest and you lose but there are more rounds in cooking.

Let’s get back to the important part. Your time limit is about 30 minutes. Imagine having to cook a meal in half an hour! It sounds stressful and to get eliminated it can get really frustrating.

Poseidon

by Michael

Hi! Have you ever read about the Greek gods? I’m focusing only on Poseidon. Poseidon is the god of the sea. He is really powerful, he is one of my favorite gods or characters. Poseidon has different looks but the looks I like is where half his body is a kraken and it’s really cool.

My Skateboarding Life

by Michael

A few days a go I got a skateboard I started years ago and I didn’t like it but now I have a total different feeling for skateboard. I really like it. I don’t use it for tricks I use it for transportation it might be a little boring if I always ride my bike to school but i’m planning to use the skateboard to ride to my school. Probably you're thinking why I can’t go to school right now it’s because i’m not skillful enough I know it’s kind of embarrassing.

Here is a video of how to skateboard...

Well that was the end of my story!

State Test Perspective - from a 3rd grader

by Sophie

Today was the state test I personally  DO NOT LIKE the state only because it is so quiet and you are only allowed to write and answer questions it is really boring but to parents it is the best thing in the world and we have it for three whole days. I wish that the state test was at least a little shorter. The state test had 22 questions I hope tomorrow is a little easier and this are second time taking it. This is my first time doing the state test and it is only a tiny bit important to show the state your progress but in a kid’s perspective it is not important. Your opinion might be different but this is mine.

Fraunces Tavern - a food review

by Sophie

Fraunces Tavern is a restaurant /museum. I went on Sunday and I saw a lot of interesting things I saw a piece of George Washington’s hair and John Adams tooth and I saw a rifle that he actually used. I think that this place is really historic.  I also saw a sash that had blood because this person was shot in war.

Moon Blog

By: Lilly and Alex

From 2-22-16 to 3-22-16 the 3 classes in the 3rd grade have to write about are writing about the phase of the moon. We blog every night about the moon and the constellations.

We also write about the constellations we see. Our teacher replies on our blogs. We also could go on websites to learn about the moon and post a lot of the facts that we see.

Click on the links below to look at all the comments and you can comments also. On my classes there are a lot of pages. Make sure to look at all of them.
