Me and Claire B.

Yesterday, me and Claire. B were playing Pokemon. Claire. B was Greninja. I was her trainer. Well, Claire. B didn’t start out as Greninja, She started as Froakie. Froakie evolves into Frogadier that evolves into Greninja. At Spanish class, I told Claire. B to go to her class (it’s actually her table.) When Claire. B was going to back pick-up, I pretended that she was going to a play date with Frogadier and Greninja. And a sleepover.

Playdate with Alina and Caroline

Yesterday, I had a play date with Caroline and Alina at Alina’s house. Alina made up this club called C.C.P. She got it from the book "Dork Diaries." Alina called Caroline, Steph. Me and Caroline called Alina, Jess. They call me Lizz. At first, I didn’t like the club C.C.P but later, I liked it. I played on Alina’s iPad Cooking Fever and helped Alina with words in Word Cookies. For dinner, we had dumplings. I ate the most dumplings because I’m a dumplings fan and second of all is because I eat a lot. Then we ate ice cream. I ate the slowest because I had a candy that takes a lot of time to make it tiny. Me and Caroline’s mom came after we ate ice cream.

Today at Heathcote Herald, I was laughing! SO it started when I was singing this song and then Sophie told me to sit on Jack. I sat on Jack but he pushed me off. Michael dared Jack to sit on him but when Jack sat on Michael, he jumped off and said Michael had spikes on his legs which is not true. We were laughing a lot later. Once today, I made Jack laugh. Usually Jack makes us laugh. He also said some jokes. Some of Jack’s jokes don’t work. But now Jack isn’t funny anymore. Maybe he is later but that’s all for now.

My Night - Ice Cream and Movies

On Saturday, 4/1/17, I went to eat dinner with Alina. After having dinner, we went to Carvel. We got ice cream. Me and Alina had one scoop. Then they went to our house to watch Arrival. Well, me and Alina watched Camp Rock and Pokemon. Camp Rock is a show about music and singing. The people get to perform singing in front of every camper in the final jam. In Pokemon, Ash catches Caterpie that evolves into Metapod that evolves into Butterflee. A swarm of Beedrills were attacking Ash and Misty. Instead, the Beedrills attacked Metapod. Then we went to sleep. Alina didn’t bring her stuff so we had to loan stuff to Alina. When we woke up, we started practicing our song and dancing The Power Of Brave.

HExpo 2017 - Katie

On Saturday, 3/18/17, Heathcote had HExpo. I missed my first class, sewing because I had to go to the doctor. My second station was seeing in 3D. Now I know how to do all this 3D stuff. Too bad we didn’t get to print out our projects. I did 3 projects. My friend Claire. B was there with me too. She did 1 or 2 projects. Same thing with my friend Mia. Claire. B’s and Mia’s are so pretty!! I also did fashion arts studio. I did a messed up drawing but the teacher said it was great! She even wanted to show the other girls. I also did draping. I didn’t do the whole shirt. I only did half of the shirt. But at home, I did the other half. It’s not sewn together yet. That’s the end of my HExpo!

Dominican republic - a travel journal

On winter break, I went to Dominican Republic. The plane ride took 4 hours. I wanted to go swimming when we came but we ended up not doing it. I found a GIANT chess board with GIANT chess pieces next to a ping pong station. First I played against Lucka’s little brother that is a 9 year old. He took all my chess pieces away. I only had a king left. Then I played against Cedric. On Sunday, my dad joined the ping pong lessons. He almost came to the finals, but the game before the finals, my dad lost!

Hi my name is Katie and I am in 2nd grade. This is my first time doing the Heathcote Herald. My favorite color is blue. I am interested in writing about traveling stories and writing about a show called Lab Rats. I think I am going to have a wonderful time at the Heathcote Herald. I also love summer and winter. My teacher is Ms. Franchini and I think she’s a really nice teacher. In second grade, we have Fun Friday on Friday. But if we don’t listen to our teacher, than we don’t have Fun Friday. Today on February 14th is Valentine’s day. My favorite food are dumplings and sushi. My favorite fruits are watermelon, plum, and pears. I like writing and reading and typing on the computer.
