Do you ever play soccer? Well it is an awesome sport. It originated in England around the mid 19th century, but the Chinese claimed to have played a version of it before. Soccer is basically kicking a soccer ball around but you can’t foul people or receive a ball offsides. The first best player in the history is Pele. This is a list of the best players in the world:
10. Garrincha
(1933-1983) Garrincha played with Pele and some people claimed he was better than Pele. He was born with different sizes of legs but he was one of the really fast players and he played for Brazil. Brazil is one of the best players in the world. The Brazil team never lost with both Garrincha and Pele
9. Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho is also a Brazilian footballer. He played for Barcelona and led the Brazilian team to the fifth trophy along with Ronaldo and Rivaldo. He is a very talented player that wore number ten in Barcelona.
8. Ronaldo (the Brazilian player)
Ronaldo is the unstoppable king of soccer. He possessed an very powerful speed and skills. He was the best player of his time. He often passed defenders and received a golden boot in the world cup netting 8 goals. The only problem is he received many injuries.
7. Ronaldo (Not to be mistaken with the Brazilian player, a player from Real Madrid).
He is a Portuguese professional player that is known worldwide. he serves as the captain of Portugal. He is compared to Messi and who do you think is better? Rated of some people he is the best player.
6. Zidane
Zidane born in France was a retired professional soccer player and now is the current coach of Real Madrid Castilla. He is known for his visibility, skills, and ball control. His favorite move is the Maradona. He played attacking Midfield for France.
5. Beckenbauer
Beckenbauer is a player from Bayern Munich. He won one world cup for Germany. He played Midfielder for Bayern. Bayern wasn’t a really good team at that time but soon Beckenbauer promoted them.
4. Cruyff
Cruyff is the Dutch king. He has intense speed that can outrun many players. He played for Barca which where the famous Messi plays. I think Cruyff and Pele are closely matched.
He won a world cup and got a golden ball.
3. Messi
Messi has a n Rivalry Ronaldo. Messi is skillful and a smart player. His position is striker and I call him the alien. He was born in Rosario, Argentina and had growth hormone deficiency. He plays for Argentina. He went from Argentina to Spain to join Barcelona.
2. Maradona
Maradona is my favorite player.He played attacking midfield One reason I like him is because of the hand of god. he used his hand and hit it in in the game against England. He has amazing skills and is smart, has good vision, and has great reflexes too. Sadly doctors found he had been taking drugs so he retired.
1. Pele
Pele is an amazing player who won 3 world cups. He also created the Fifa 100. A website that shows the best 125 players. You wouldn't see Garrincha because he died early. The people have to be still living. Pele played a striker and was the king of football.
Soccer is my favorite sport and I hope you can play it too.
