Last Heathcote Herald of 2016-2016!

This is officially the last Heathcote Herald semester! It is officially the last class for us than anyone else. This is our last Heathcote Herald - EVER!!!!!😱 😱 😱  We will really miss this place. We are going to middle school next year and we will really miss sharing our thoughts and opinions with you. Here are some things we will miss: We get views from so many other countries. We are so happy that people take time out of their day to read our writing. This is something that makes leaving so much harder! We also will miss rejoicing over how many people read our writing. We think the maximum number of views was 88 views in 1 hour! We will miss all of our friends that we made here. Overall, we will miss everything about Heathcote Herald and we are very sad to leave. We don’t want to leave here, but we are also open to new things, like new friends and new changes. We are excited for middle school, but Heathcote will always be our home.

El Classico is the name of a match that happens 1-2 times a year when FC Barcelona plays a 90 minute soccer match against CF Madrid (Real Madrid)

The first one this year was in March and Real Madrid won. Gareth Bale scored a good goal and Cristiano Ronaldo, probably the best player for Real Madrid scored a great one.

The Race for the White House

We are in the middle of the 2016 election. This is a very interesting election, because there are pros, and cons, to each candidate, some are more clear than others. West Virginia voted May 3rd, and on the republican side Trump wins with 61 votes. Cruz is in second with 22 votes and Kasich comes in last with 14 votes. On the democrat side Sanders wins with 45 votes and Clinton follows with 37.  I am surprised that Donald Trump has so many consistent votes. He says offensive things that undermine lots of people’s beliefs. Let’s see what the Heathcote Herald staff  thinks of the candidates!

Minecraft

Here are some facts about the game Minecraft! In Minecraft, there are different modes which are TNTs and different weather. Another mode is survival. When in survival mode, you must make yourself a home and gather resources. Mobs can kill you and will try to kill you (mobs are monsters). If more of that animals or mobs are around they will all come after you. In survival mode your inventory you will not have anything. You can mine for stone, diamond, gold, emerald, and dirt. In minecraft, you have texture packs and skins. You can change your skin to a king, villager, queen, and animals. In minecraft, you get TNT, armor, and tools. Minecraft has many apps that look like it and have similar mods. The real minecraft before the pocket edition was more deadly.  Trailer For Story Mode. The Jungle Book - a movie review

You’re sitting in the movie theater, watching as on the screen you see a young boy named Mowgli walking next to a panther, talking to him. What is this movie? Why, this is a live action version of a old, but good, animated movie The Jungle Book. This movie is about a “man cub” who was raised as the jungle as his home, and a wolf as his mother. But when the dangerous tiger Shere Khan starts hunting him down, he is forced to flee the jungle with the help of his friend, the panther Bagheera. Along the way he meets a bear named Baloo, and other animals who don’t always have his best interests in heart.

The Scarsdale High School Carnival

The Scarsdale High School carnival is very fun. The carnival was the 16th of April. It has lots of rides.The first ride I went on was called The Drop. It goes very high and goes down very fast. The next ride I went on was alien invasion. It was the best ride ever. There was no gravity in it. Does that sound awesome? Now, go to the high school carnival!
