Wrap up time...

I’m Emily, one of the crew members of the Heathcote Herald after school club. This year, which was the first year that I came to Heathcote Herald, was a complete success. Everyone wrote many documents and three of my friends, Meena, Kyra and Danielle even wrote a video that convinces people to donate to charity!! 

This after-school club is one of my favorite after-school club in my whole experience at Heathcote School. This session, my favorite article of all time is: ”Christmas is Coming to Town!!” written by me and my other friend, Hope. We wrote a lot of articles together and I think we make a great team. And personally, I am so glad that Mr.Casal and Ms.Benash made up the program in the first place. 

My favorite part about a reporter is that I feel so grown up when I write because I know that there are people (who are adults…) are doing kind of the same thing except that it would be published in the real newspaper.

End of session wrap up...

Hi it’s Danielle, I’m one of the members of the Heathcote Herald Club at Heathcote Elementary School. Today we are closing up for our first semester. Some of my friends in the club are Emily, Meena and Kyra. My favorite things I did are probably the videos I made with Meena and Kyra. I’m definitely going to sign up next semester. My favorite part about being a reporter is that sometimes I learn new things in the world. 

My favorite report that I DID NOT WRITE is the “Pitch Perfect Two Report.”

My End of Session Reflection

This is the end of this session. I am excited for the new session to start. I love to write a lot about sports. I have made 6 articles this session. 4 of them were about sports.

My End of Session Reflection...

This is my last issue for Volume 3. My favorite article that I wrote was called El Classico. Including this article I have written eight articles. These are the ones I wrote: El Classico, FC Barcelona , The Golden State Warriors, Bad Bathrooms, The Miami Dolphins, Halloween Parade and Introduction. 

Only one thing I worked on with someone else was called Sports Report. I love to write about sports.

During this semester, I learned a lot of things, for example how to make links to my articles and how to format my articles correctly. 

I will miss Heathcote Herald!

Meena's Heathcote Herald Wrap Up

Hi, this is Meena, one of the members of Heathcote Herald. I am sad to announce that Heathcote Herald is ending this week. Don’t worry I will be back next semester to post some more articles. My favorite memories here were when Kyra, Danielle, and I made seasonal holiday charity videos, to encourage people to donate to charity. One of my favorite articles was the Calico Critter article that I wrote with Kyra.  Some of my favorite Heathcote memories happen in the after school club Heathcote Herald. Some of my closest friends are in this after school club. Such as, Kyra S., Emily W., and Danielle G. Something I like about being a journalist is that I get to report news, and write my opinions on them. Overall, I have had a lot fun in this after school club this semester, and am excited to come back next semester.
