Soccer Extra - El Clasico (almost) full extended highlights

Saturday, a legendary match between two of the best soccer teams on earth. El Clasico. Real Madrid Club de Futbol VS Futbol Club Barcelona. This match is a la liga game and a very beautiful one too.

The match starts with Real Madrid at the kickoff, the player at the kickoff passes it to a Real Madrid defender and that is the start of the match. At the end of the ninth minute of the match (eight minutes and fifty eight seconds) Neymar gets the ball and runs, he has a chance for either a beautiful cross or a wonderful goal. But Neymar trips and falls. But before a Real defender can get it, he gets back to his feet. He hasn’t lost the ball, but he lost the element of surprise! He gives a decent high pass over to Roberto, and Roberto shoots but it bounces off Sergio Ramos. Some people think it was a handball.

Messi has a free kick very close to the 18 yard box. Messi shoots but it is too far and the ball is a little too slow so Real Madrid goalkeeper Navas easily gets the ball. Then at 20:02 Busquets boots the ball about 40 yards to Neymar, Neymar runs a little more and then passes it to Suarez. Suarez turns and shoots but it bounces off a real player.

Vasquez from Real Madrid jukes out one Barcelona defender and runs into the 18 yard box, he chips it to Benzema, Benzema tries to kick the ball into the goal but then a Barca defender intercepts the ball and kicks it forward to the forwards. Then in the thirty second minute, a high ball comes to Ronaldo, but then Benzema tries to score as well, he knocks Ronaldo down by accident and stops his almost successful bicycle kick. Benzema stands up. Then the ball bounces to Marcelo who passes it to Ronaldo/Benzema. Then trying to intercept the ball, he kicks Benzema’s foot.

When Ronaldo says it should be a penalty, the referee dismisses him. Ronaldo gets the ball from a defender and he runs really really fast all the way from the halfway line into the 18 yard box, then he shoots, it is on target, perfect shot… but Ter Stegen dives for the ball and gets it.

Then, in the thirty eighth minute, another goal chance for Barca. Alba passes the ball to Vasquez, Vasquez shoots, on target, but Ter Stegen gets it again! It’s a corner kick for Real at the end of the first half, he kicks the ball and the person at back post strikes it into the bottom right, but it was an easy save for Ter Stegen since he already was there.

Now the second half, it’s the 50th minute and Real Madrid is pushing to make a lead. With a Real attack, it is a perfect run with four real players with four Barca players (5 if you count the goalie). The ball goes to Cristiano Ronaldo but the pass is poor which leads to a kick by Ronaldo which is way to strong and it goes over the goal, but it was still a wonderful play by Real Madrid.

Now in the fifty second minute there is a free kick for Barcelona only 1 or 2 metres from the eighteen yard box. Neymar and Messi are behind the ball, and if you want to see what happens next, then watch the game.
