The host of this year’s Movie Awards was Amy Schumer. It was at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, and was held on April 12, 2015. The amazing actor Robert Downey Jr. won the Generation Award. His Avengers cast-mates gave the award to him. After the award they streamed a live clip of the new second Avengers, Avengers Age of Ultron. The new movie will be out in May. And the night after the awards was the premiere of the movie. And Shailene Woodley from the Fault in Our Stars won three awards! Many more celebrities won awards like Jennifer Lopez!
The 2015 MTV Movie Awards also had great performances. Charli XCX performed her new single “Famous” and then she performed “Drop That Kitty” with Tinashe and Ty Dolla Sign. And Fall Out Boy performed “Centuries” and “Uma Thurman.” The performances were awesome!
